Admissions Procedures for Prospective Students

Admissions Application Instructions

Please follow these instructions carefully

  1. Submit your completed application for admissions to the Admissions Office. You should also send by mail a non-refundable fee of $25.00 (check or money order) made payable to Knoxville College; international students pay $135.00 to cover the additional expenses of processing the application.
  2. Have all high schools or colleges you have attended send an official transcript to the Knoxville College Office of Admissions. If you are currently attending high school, your final transcript must be received prior to your enrolment at the college, to ensure that you have completed your high school graduation requirements.  Also, a GED Certificate is acceptable.
  3. Submit the results of either the American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).  Results of these tests are used for counseling purposes and analyzing the course work you have completed in high school.
  4. If you are a transfer student, all work completed at the college level (liberal arts or technical), must be provided.  If you omit any information, this can be considered grounds for cancellation or withdrawal of acceptance.
  5. International students must submit appropriate academic records and a minimum score of 475 (Paper- based) , 225 (Internet-based) , and  75 (Computer-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
