Knoxville College Board of Trustees Announces Presidential Leadership Transition

KNOXVILLE, Tenn., September 30, 2025

The Knoxville College Board of Trustees today announced a transition in presidential leadership. Dr. Rotesha Harris’s service as President was concluded effective July 23, 2025.

This decision was made after careful consideration and reflects the Board’s commitment to the long-term stability of the College, the continued pursuit of academic excellence, and dedicated service to the community.

To ensure operational continuity, an interim leadership structure is in place to oversee day-to-day activities and to maintain a high-quality student experience during this period of transition.

The Board is grateful to the students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community partners for their ongoing support. Additional updates regarding leadership plans will be shared in the coming weeks.

The Board acknowledges Dr. Harris’s tenure at Knoxville College.
