Update on The Ronald and Dianne Damper Business and Leadership Modular Building

From the Office of the President

Dear Knoxville College Community,

As we continue our journey of renewal and responsible stewardship, I want to inform you about an important update regarding the Ronald and Dianne Damper Business and Leadership Building (modular building), on our campus.

In recent months, the institution has undertaken a thorough review of all

operational costs to ensure we are allocating resources in the most strategic and sustainable way possible. As a result of this review, and in an effort to reduce expenses and redirect funds toward our highest priorities, we have made the decision to return the modular building.

We are pleased to share that the Knoxville College team is relocating back to the Annex building. This move not only reduces costs but also reinforces our commitment to revitalizing and utilizing our permanent campus structures. We are excited to make it once again a hub of activity and operations.

Please know that this decision was made thoughtfully, with the goal of

strengthening our foundation for growth. The modular building has been a vital part of our journey and supported our efforts when we needed it most; however, given the current financial constraints and our focus on long-term infrastructure planning, it is no longer feasible to maintain this temporary facility.

We remain committed to our revitalization efforts and are confident that every step we take, including this one, brings us closer to a larger vision to restore and renew the legacy of Knoxville College.

Thank you for your continued support and belief in our mission. Together, we are rebuilding a resilient, mission-driven institution for generations to come.

With appreciation,

Dr. Rotesha Harris

President, Knoxville College
